Tour Description:

This is a true aurora hunting tour! Starting from Rovaniemi with a flexible start time, we will drive to a location where the weather models have determined that we will have the best chance of seeing the aurora. Whether it’s half an hour away or deep into Swedish Lapland, we want to see the aurora as much as you do so we’ll make sure to get there!

Once we have located clear skies and aurora, it’s time to enjoy the show and take document all the magic with our high quality mirrorless cameras and astrophotography lenses. All good photos taken on the night are provided to you within 2 doys of the tour.

• Private northern lights hunt (starting at €599 for 2 people , 8 people maximum)

• Private guaranteed tour (starting at €799 for 2 people, 8 people maximum): If no Northern Lights are visible at all to the naked eye or on camera, you will receive a 90% refund or we will offer you a free tour the day after*.

• Photography: All photos taken on the night of your tour and deemed ‘good’ by the photographer will be provided through Google Drive at full print quality resolution. All photos remain the intellectual property of Rather Chilly and cannot be resold, edited, or used for commercial purposes without permission.

*Why not a 100% refund? A lot of operators who give out 100% refunds don’t have the confidence to go out many nights when the conditions are looking tough, simply because they are worried that they’ll lose money if they try. The weather models are not always right and I’ve seen amazing auroras on nights where even I thought it would be impossible. If there is even a small chance, we’ll give it a shot and In the event that we don’t see the lights, the 10% I keep covers gas and expenses.

In any case, if the opportunity presents itself I’ll still take amazing photos of you in Lapland’s wilderness, not a bad deal for 90% off!
