Tour Description:
This is a true aurora hunting tour! Starting from Rovaniemi with a flexible start time, we will drive to a location where the weather models have determined that we will have the best chance of seeing the aurora. Whether it’s half an hour away or deep into Swedish Lapland, we want to see the aurora as much as you do so we’ll make sure to get there!
Once we have located clear skies and aurora, it’s time to enjoy the show and take document all the magic with our high quality mirrorless cameras and lenses. All good photos taken on the night are provided to you at a resolution suitable for social media within 2 days of the tour, full resolution print quality photo downloads can be purchased at an additional cost (outlined in the photography price list below).
Northern lights hunt (€150 per person)
Northern lights hunt with a guarantee (€225 per person): If no Northern Lights are visible at all to the naked eye or on camera, you will receive a 90% refund.
Private northern lights hunt (starting at €700 for 2 people , 8 people maximum)
Private guaranteed tour (starting at €1000 for 2 people, 8 people maximum): If no Northern Lights are visible at all to the naked eye or on camera, you will receive a 90% refund.
Photography Add-ons: All photos taken on the night of your tour and deemed ‘good’ by the photographer will be provided through Google Drive at a resolution suitable for social media for free. Full resolution print quality image downloads can be purchased separately. All photos remain the intellectual property of Rather Chilly and cannot be resold, edited, or used for commercial purposes without permission.

Please fill in this form to reserve a date for your aurora hunt. Once we have received your booking submission and can confirm your spot, you will receive a payment link from hello@ratherchilly.com. This will need to be paid within 24 hours of the link being sent to confirm and finalise the booking.
